TLH is a minimally invasive surgery to remove the uterus and cervix through four small abdominal incisions. Ovaries and fallopian tubes may also be removed, depending on the condition.
Indications for TLH

Pre-Surgery Preparation
Full physical exam, blood tests, and imaging.

Stop blood-thinning medications as advised.
Avoid food and drink 6–12 hours before surgery.

General or spinal anesthesia is administered.
Tubes are placed for breathing, stomach content removal, and urine drainage.
Compression stockings are used to prevent blood clots.
Recovery
Stay in recovery and observation for 23 hours.
Gradual return to a normal diet.
